Brooke and I used to work together back when I was in college at the local Gap. On nights and weekends we’d fold clothes and help customers in between chatting and getting to know each other. She’s got a bubbly personality and is one of those people you could easily talk to all day. When she contacted us about shooting her wedding I was so excited just to be able to reconnect and get to see how she has been doing! Needless to say she still has the same amazing personality but now she’s got an extra glow of joy that Daniel and his love provide her.
Daniel and Brooke were absolutely rock stars for their downtown Birmingham engagement session! Not only did they kill it at posing, but Daniel managed to do the whole session with a fractured foot, like he has been wearing a boot! This was definitely a Katie & Alec first! Even though he’s been on crutches for several weeks he put them aside in between photos and managed to not look like anything was wrong and nail every pose. We were definitely impressed with his ability to hop around, maintain his balance, and how both of them managed to look like legit models!
From his dapper bow-tie to her stunning maxi dress and the adorable picnic scene that followed their entire session was just beautiful. Birmingham also showed off a little with that gorgeous glow during golden hour! We can’t think of a better way to have highlighted these two and the love they share than with this gorgeous engagement session! We can’t wait for their upcoming fall wedding at the beautiful Woodrow Hall here in Birmingham!
