Last week, Sheri reached out to us to shoot her elopement on Sunday and we immediately were up for the challenge! This was our first elopement shoot, and we can tell you it was so romantic and simple. I can tell you now, Alec and I are officially fans of elopements!
The details are to-die-for! From Sheri’s custom Coman-Baum sapphire engagement ring to the gorgeous peonies I was definitely swooning! The bouquet was especially unique, and the florist who designed the the flowers in a way to honor their two families becoming one. On one side her flowers had four ranaculus to represent Sheri and her children, and on the other there were three to represent Tom and his children!
Tom & Sheri said their vows in the backyard of the home they are renovating together out in Inverness. With their children and parents there to witness it it was so intimate and just what they were looking for. The ceremony was lovely! They exchanged vows, sealed it with a kiss, and for their first act as man-and-wife they celebrated with a hand washing unity ceremony where they served one another by drying one each others hands off. From there they celebrated with champagne and family time and it was such a sweet ending to the night!
Congrats again, Tom and Sheri, we hope and pray for nothing but the very best for your marriage!
Blessings,
Katie
