John & Stacey’s day was so full of laughter, the most heart-warming smiles, and the prettiest sunset. The day started with a serious threat of rain, but it luckily held off and we even ended up with beautiful blue skies by the time the reception started!
Stacey looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous wedding dress! It has the most beautiful buttons going down the back and sparkled as every wedding dress ought to! The day started with the sweetest first look with her and her father! From there we went down to Mathew’s Manor’s famous bridge for John & Stacey’s first look. John was like a kid on Christmas eve, so excited and bouncing up-and-down in nervous anticipation to see his bride. The moment he saw her, all he could say was “WOW babe!” and he seemed to fly to her for an embrace!
From there, the day just got sweeter and sweeter. Their ceremony was such a beautiful celebration of what God has done in their lives and a beautiful way to honor their Savior. Outside at Mathews Manor was the perfect setting for their ceremony too. They even wrote letters to one another celebrating their love for each other, followed by the exchange of rings and communion. Their parents even came up to pray over them before they were officially announced as husband and wife!
The reception was one of the most fun we’ve been to. It kicked off with the normal dances, but during John’s dance with his mother, they broke into a choreographed dance that had everyone cracking up! It was so great! The rest of the night was spent partying and dancing joyfully until it was time to send this amazing couple off on their honeymoon to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. They left as the sun was setting to an adorable bubble exit, and once they were gone the guests stayed for a while just to marvel at how beautiful the entire day had been (which Alec and I are still doing today!)
