Kevin & Julie are two of the sweetest people around! From the day we met them, Alec and I have known that they belong together! They met back in 2014 at Church of the Highland’s annual Serve Day when a friend introduced them. At first, Kevin thought Julie was incredibly cute but didn’t think anything of it beyond that. Over the next year, the two of them kept finding themselves in the same places, around the same people and Kevin couldn’t get her off his mind. Eventually, he asked her out, and the rest is history! We love how God worked to bring these two together in His perfect timing, and we’re so excited that they are finally Mr. & Mrs. Summerall!
I want to take a moment to point out just how incredible these two really are. Before Alec and I even showed up to shoot, Julie was continually trying to serve us and make sure we were cared for. From making sure we had eaten, to checking in on us to see if we were doing okay, she exuded a servant’s heart. She welcomed us into their new home for her getting ready portraits, and the joy was visible as she beamed over their new space. It was filled with family and friends, ready to drop everything to help us or to offer words of encouragement and excitement for Julie! Kevin was also incredible throughout the day! Kevin is a police officer and definitely a mans-man. Seeing the softer side of him with his gentle love for Julie through joyful looks, sweet words, and even tears were moving!
By the time we made our way over to Griffin Farms for the first look, we knew it was going to be a special ceremony. The weather was perfect with soft light, a cool fall breeze, and the smell of freshly fallen leaves. Kevin was so excited to see his bride and it showed! For their first look, before Julie even arrived, he was crying in joyful anticipation at the thought of seeing his bride. Once they were together, Julie was all laughs while Kevin eagerly took pride in his gorgeous soon-to-be-wife. That emotion never left his face from the ceremony until’ their exit and we couldn’t get enough of it! Their ceremony and reception we short and sweet, just how they wanted. They said, “I do”, surrounded by friends and family who cheered them on with so much loving excitement.
Kevin & Julie, y’all are such an amazing couple and we can’t wait to see where God takes your marriage! We hope that your new home and new life together will be so full of love, peace, and joy!
