Justin & Abigail's Yellowleaf Creek Mill Wedding

Besides the fact that this wedding was absolutely gorgeous in every way imaginable, it was special to me in so many ways! I grew up with Abigail as she was in my little sister’s grade, her Girl Scout troop, our youth group, and one of her good friends! I remember Girl Scout camping trips, youth group adventures, slumber parties, and random hangouts with her. Throughout the day, I kept running into people that I knew, so it felt like a joyful reunion all day long! On top of all this, one of her bridesmaids is also one of my closest, all-time friends and basically a sister, which just made the day even more fun! It was so exciting when she reached out and asked Alec and I to document this next step in her life, with the love of her life!

Justin & Abigail are truly best friends. Their relationship started that way in high school before their feelings for one another grew into romance and eventually deep, deep love. They’ve been through so much together, and their wedding was such a testament to the joy that they share. From the beginning to end of the day, they both cried so many tears of celebration! I dare anyone reading this to try making it through without a few tears yourself! They’re just that sweet!

Their ceremony was absolutely gorgeous. Tiffany, with Studio Flower, blew everyone’s minds with how phenomenal the flowers looked. Add on the fact that their ceremony was overlooking the lake right as the sun began to set… dreamy! Justin & Abigail did a great job planning this beautiful day, and it couldn’t have turned out better. As Abigail walked down the aisle, there wasn’t a single person without a giant smile on their face. Justin cried tears of joy at the sight of his beautiful bride. Our high school youth pastor officiated the ceremony, and it was topped off by their incredibly personal and emotional wedding vows.

Looking back, all I can say is that the day represented Justin & Abigail’s joy perfectly. They deserved every moment of bliss, and I think I’m not alone in saying that I’m so happy they are finally married! So without any further ado, it is with great joy and honor that I would like to present the new Mr. & Mrs. Justin Lee Goodwin!
