Ryan & Autumn’s Montevallo Wedding

Ryan & Autumn’s Montevallo wedding day was one of the most joy-filled weddings we’ve ever had the honor to be a part of. Every little detail was meticulously planned out with so much attention to detail. We won’t be able to do it justice with just words. We knew after their engagement session that they were a very special couple (we highly suggest reading their incredible love story here!)! It will melt your heart!

For Ryan & Autumn, a huge inspiration for their wedding day was honoring the legacy of the love they’ve inherited. You can see it in their wedding hashtag, #artandlousayido, which includes both of their middle names and honors their grandparents (who they’re named after). It’s also shown in the sweet family photos they had throughout their reception. Autumn also wore Ryan’s mother’s necklace and engagement ring that were passed down to her after they got engaged. This was the perfect way to honor her memory. As if that wasn’t all sweet enough, Autum placed a rose into her bouquet from her grandmother’s funeral. Each and every little detail was so special to them and brought the day an extra touch of sweetness. Perhaps our favorite detail was the braid in Autumn’s hair. In her own words, “The braids in my hair will symbol something my mom taught me when I was a little girl: A marriage, like a braid, is made of three parts — the husband, the wife, and God. Three parts are stronger than two parts alone.”

Their wedding day was one full of joy, pure excitement, and so much laughter. Smiles were basically glued to everyone’s faces as they witnessed the two become one during their ceremony. It was simple with one goal: honoring the Lord through their marriage. They had their families pray over them, performed a unity ceremony, and read vows they wrote themselves. Every moment was incredibly personal.

For their reception they kicked things off with their dances. Their first dances didn’t reflect the many others that we have seen. Back when they were dating, Ryan wrote Autumn a song just for her! So for their wedding, he recorded the song, and they danced to those sweet lyrics. For the father + daughter dance, Ryan & Faith (Autumn’s sister) performed together. “Emotional” barely begins to describe their dances. For the rest of their reception, they went around personally thanking everyone for being there and making them feel loved.

It was an absolutely stunning wedding day that we’re so thankful we got to witness & document. Their marriage is something we’re confident will bring the Lord so much glory. Ryan & Autumn are going to do some amazing things for the Kingdom through their marriage! We can’t wait to see how the rest of their love story plays out!
