We’ve written tons of posts about where to go for photos from popular locations to our personal favorites. What we’ve never done is talk about how you should go about choosing your engagement photo locations! As a Katie & Alec couple you get to pick 2 locations within 10 minutes of one another.
The locations are up to you! We love shooting in new places because it stimulates our creativity. Plus, we want the location to fit your style and be special to you. Try and think outside the box. Maybe someone in your network can get you access to an exclusive private estate, a lush farm, cotton field, or ranch, an upscale resort or hotel, one of the sports stadiums, an airplane hangar, or a downtown rooftop. The sky is literally the limit!
Do you have a place that’s special to your relationship? A college quad you met on, the lookout point where he asked you to marry him? Picking a spot that holds significance to you can be extra special and will help you love your photos even more!
We’re even happy to travel. So if an Atlanta, Nashville, Chattanooga, Savannah or pretty much anywhere is something you guys are in for, we’d love to do that. Spend a few minutes thinking about it and asking around.
