Dear Hubby,
Happy Valentine’s Day!! I know you’re not a big fan of the holiday, and that it seems silly. I will take any opportunity I can though to celebrate our marriage! That’s something I always want to do because I’m so proud of this amazing life we’ve built together!
Thank you so much for everything you are in my life. Thank you for your constant patience, understanding, and never-ending support. How you constantly lead our family with so much gentleness and strength constantly astounds me. I can’t say enough about how much you mean to me. You are the best husband I could ever have asked or prayed for! Who would have known that 9 years ago those two college students who met over Frisbee would end up here… Those two teenagers would be astounded and how far God has brought us!
I pray that I can be the most amazing partner for you. On Valentine’s Day and every day I want to love and serve you the way you deserve! I promise to keep encouraging you, to continue building you up, and always believing in your dreams. You know I will always be here for you and that you’ll always have someone cheering you on in life!
Through all the highs and lows we’ve gone through in the last five years of our marriage, I am so thankful we have gone through them together. It hasn’t always been the easiest ride but our marriage has always been the highlight. No matter what comes next, I know as long as I have you by my side we can handle anything life throws our way. So, here’s to more adventures, new endeavors, and Lord willing 50 more years together (oh, and lots of Sonic Drive-Thru happy hours!!).
