Oak Meadow Event Center
We love this gorgeous, all-white venue! It is right outside the Birmingham area in Ohatchee. It’s got a modern farmhouse feel and a ton of wonderful amenities. It has a spacious bridal suite upstairs with a shower and hair and makeup station for multiple people and a private groom’s suite downstairs. They even have a room for you to sit and have your private meal away from guests. You can also choose from an indoor or outdoor ceremony. Plus, their team is genuinely the best!
Hamilton Place at Pursell Farms
Hamilton Place at Pursell Farms is a dream, a prime spot for destination and luxury weddings! They have a gorgeous property with a golf course, clay shooting, a spa, and even a hotel for your guests to stay on-site. Hamilton Place at Pursell Farms is nestled away in the foothills of Alabama out in Sylacauga. It offers gorgeous views, a beautiful outdoor ceremony space, and one of the most gorgeous reception halls. They also offer catering.
The Sonnet House
The Sonnet House is another light & airy dream! It’s located in Leeds and feels so private in the countryside. The wrap-around porch is a gorgeous focal point alongside their iconic string lights out back. The best part is they offer multiple outdoor ceremony locations and an indoor location in case of rain. They even offer an in-house florist. You can also do your reception indoors and outdoors. There’s a reason this venue has won Best In Birmingham repeatedly!
Ridge Point Events
This space and property are absolutely gorgeous! It’s near Talladega and offers an on-site home for your bridal party to stay at. Best of all, it has a ceremony and reception space that are connected but feel completely separated. There’s no need to flip a space for your wedding reception!
Vestavia Country Club
Looking for a golf course wedding? Vestavia Country Club is a gorgeous option! They offer incredible views, delicious catering, and a beautiful ballroom with giant chandeliers. It’s right in the heart of Vestavia towards downtown Birmingham, making it close to so many nearby hotels for your guests.
The Florentine Building
This historic Birmingham building brings in a little touch of Europe. With pale blue ceilings, tons of windows, and gorgeous chandeliers,, it’s a stunning ballroom. They offer two unique locations, an upstairs and downstairs space. Another perk is that they handle catering and have an in-house florist. Plus, since they’re in the heart of downtown Birmingham,, they’re close to a ton of unique photo locations!
Birmingham Botanical Gardens
The Birmingham Botanical Gardens is known for its gorgeous plants and walking trails, and its location is in Birmingham. While it is more well-known as a ceremony space, it also offers a reception venue. No matter the season, it’s always beautiful. Plus, multiple ceremony locations like the Rose Garden and Reflecting Pool exist. It is also right across the street from the gorgeous Grand Bohemian Hotel for your guests. There are also a lot of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops, all within walking distance.
Windwood Equestrian Center
Out in the suburbs of Birmingham, Windwood Equestrian is a unique wedding venue. It’s a functioning barn with tons of beautiful horses and it’s so well-kept. Our favorite part about this venue is how private and secluded it is. Plus, it has a truly stunning reception space with a large covered stage, functioning fireplace, and water fountain that is gorgeous. You’ll be wowed when you drive up to this stunning venue!
Camelot Manor
We love this classic Southern-style home. The giant wrap-around porch makes it feel so quintessentially southern. It offers a covered outdoor ceremony and reception space, with room for food service inside, a bridal and groom’s suite, and a beautiful field next door for photos. We love how light and bright it is!
Mountain Brook Club
This is another gorgeous golf course venue. It’s a magnificent design that makes a nod to a historic European charm. Their grand ballroom is a little dated but fits well with the historic feel. The best part is it has a ceremony space on-site that overlooks the golf course below. It does feel extra luxurious as it’s nestled inside one of Birmingham’s most gorgeous neighborhoods.
The Theodore
Looking for an industrial chic wedding venue in Birmingham? This is it! It’s also a huge space with a great getting-ready suite on site. The main draw is that you can accommodate so many guests here. It also has a built-in bar and a back patio for guests to enjoy.
Otter Creek Farmstead & Distillery
This hunting lodge has a unique feel for a wedding venue. It is also in Ohatchee, Alabama, and its sprawling grounds feel like a completely different world. It offers the most masculine energy of all the venues we share today and feels so at one with nature. This is great for couples who want something unique and luxurious. Bonus: there are many cabins for family and friends to stay in for the weekend!
Bridgestreet Gallery & Loft
This Birmingham wedding venue is so dreamy! It’s industrial-chic while still being light and airy. It is located right in the heart of the city. With white brick walls, two stories (which means two separate spaces for ceremony and reception), and an in-house bridal suite it is gorgeous. It’s also close to a ton of Birmingham photo locations for you to use for couples photos.
Park Crest
You would probably never guess that this venue is right off Highway 31 in Hoover! It offers two separate indoor spaces and a gorgeous outdoor ceremony site. The downstairs feels a little more industrial, and the upstairs feels a little more classic. It’s a huge, spacious venue that can accommodate a large guest count.
The Barn at Shady Lane
This is another Best in Birmingham wedding venue winner regularly. The family that built the Barn at Shady Lane is so kind and has done an incredible job making it a stunning wedding venue. They call it the premiere country venue in the city because that’s exactly what it is. They have a beautiful pergola outside for outdoor ceremonies, or you can host your ceremony inside and flip the space for your reception. Recently, they’ve made several additions to expand their space to accommodate a higher guest count. It has a beautiful outdoor patio and the main barn, and the addition is huge!
