John’s face, when he looked at Ashley, would instantly light up and transform into a wide, joyful grin! Every single time he looked at her, he smiled or started laughing. Both of them would often just start laughing throughout their engagement session. We have to say, happy and giggly couples like this are our favorite. You can genuinely tell how much they love one another and how much their relationship brings them joy.
One fun fact about this couple is that Ashley & Katie went to high school together! It was so fun for her to get to see Ashley again and finally meet John. We have to say, John is the perfect match for Ashley! They have so much chemistry and so much fun together. They’re such a power couple. Ashley is a Nurse Practitioner, and John is in his final years of medical school to become a physician.
Ashley & John’s 6th dating anniversary was actually the day of our session! We love that they chose to celebrate such an important milestone with photos to document it. We even started at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens because that’s where John proposed. It was so dang sweet!
Now, the next time we photograph them, it will be for their new anniversary date, their wedding day! They are getting married next May, and we just know it is going to be a beautiful day. We can not wait for it to get here!
