Micah and Michele are college friends of our from our campus ministry days! Michele has a heart of gold and the voice of an angel. Micah is incredibly kind and gentle. Together they’re one super sweet couple with an awesome heart for God. When they asked us to shoot their engagement session and wedding we couldn’t have been more excited! We lined up their shoot to help raise funds for an adoption fund-raiser we held to help two of our friend’s bring home their first baby. It genuinely couldn’t have worked our more beautifully!
We met at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens right at sunset for a sweet and intimate sense during the session. Micah even coordinated their outfits to match their wedding colors and their save-the-dates they were making. It was so fun to get to see these two together and the entire time he couldn’t stop looking into her eyes and getting this big love-filled grin! Let’s just say our hearts may have melted a little at a time as we captured these amazing moments! Also, did we forget to mention Michelle’s mom even gave her Micah original engagement ring for him to propose with?! Can you say adorable?!
Between their joy and the gorgeous sunset over the gardens we just adore this e-sesh! It’s so sweet and beautiful. Not to mention how excited we keep getting as we look back at the images for their upcoming wedding at Avondale Park here in Birmingham. Michele is planning to incorporate so many personal affects into the wedding from her mother’s engagement ring that is now hers all the way to wearing her mothers original wedding gown! We can’t wait and we know it’s going to be a day full of honest love and so many memorable moments!
