Tye and Caitie are old friends of ours from Campus Crusade and our college days (which I say this rolling my eyes because I’m going to pretend it wasn’t that long ago we were all at school together!) After getting married and graduating these two went out to Colorado where Tye got a teaching job at a small school. Now he and Caitie live right across the street from the school and now Caitie works as the school nurse. It’s just too adorable to handle, this gorgeous couple working together just rooms apart!
This past weekend several of us were brought together in Monroeville, Alabama for the wedding of another old college friend and it was a blast catching up. Tye was in the wedding as a groomsmen and we were shooting the day! At the rehearsal we got to talking with Tye about our lives, and specifically our photography business and how he and Caitie had been following along. When we left Alec and I talked, and we just knew we had to do a session with them at some point during the weekend! So, the morning of the wedding we woke up early and met up to shoot Tye and Caitie’s anniversary mini session. We had so much fun as we explored this beautiful park and caught up on life after school, marriage, and everything else that’s changed over the years. It was just great to be able to reminisce and see the faithfulness of God in their lives and marriage.
These two cuties are celebrating four years of marriage this year, and it definitely looks good on them! We know that they’re in Colorado doing amazing things and we pray that they will continue to be a light in the school they work at and in every other area of their lives!
