Colby & Rachel’s Birmingham engagement session was the perfect way to kick off our 2017! The strange Alabama weather even showed off for them with a warm 75 degree day. That’s a major win in our book, and we haven’t even gotten to their amazing outfits, constant laughter, or great personalities. Just wait until you see these two together! They bring out so much joy in each other and it’s absolutely contagious. From the beginning to end of our time with them, they exuded happiness in every way imaginable.
As we adventured around Railroad Park we loved getting to know these two more, and it felt like they were old friends by the time we left. From sharing stories about their transition to living in the deep south to learning about how their relationship has grown over the years we had a great time. Since Alec & I are already married, we could tell right away that they are truly best friends and that they have a foundation that’s built-to-last. She is bright & bubbly, he is calm & steady. It’s a match that just makes so much sense when you get to see them together. Really, they’re just good people and the type of couple you want to be friends with. It brought us even more joy that they loved all of Alec’s jokes & magic tricks! Haha! That’s the real secret to making him your best friend.
Colby & Rachel, we wish you the absolute sweetest and we hope that you two continue to bring each other endless amounts of happiness. We’re so thankful for how we (randomly) met you and have had the honor of documenting this time in your relationship. We can’t wait to see you again and hopefully show off a little more of Birmingham. Also, go Badgers!
