Yesterday we shared part 1 of Will & Jordan’s proposal/engagement story. If you haven’t seen/read about it yet, we definitely encourage you to go to that one first!
Thanks for a torrential downpour on the day of their proposal, we ended up rescheduling the second half of their session. Normally, we’d be a little upset that the session got cut short, but in this case, the tropical depression did us a favor.
Their proposal was gorgeous, and their engagement session was gorgeous in a totally different way! The light was a perfect, glowy sunset for us versus that overcast rainy day. Even more so, it was more fun because we used the Birmingham Botanical Gardens as the new location. It’s so nice that they got so much variety in their session. Plus, we didn’t know it, but right in the heart of the rose garden is where Jordan’s grandparents got married. Getting to take photos of her and Will there was a beautiful nod to that legacy.
Also, we have to say it was great getting to spend more time with Will & Jordan! They’re so dang cute, full of laughter and joy, and so sweet. The entire session they kept making each other belly laugh and genuinely just had a blast together. As photographers, that’s our favorite!! Getting couples like them who are so comfortable together and so joyful is the best.
Blessings,
Katie & Alec
How cute are they together?!
This is the spot where Jordan’s grandparents got married, it’s just too sweet to handle!
Just look at the joy on Jordan’s face! Her smile really does say it all!
